Terms of service

These terms apply when you use LexerDial. They are deliberately short. If something here does not work for your business, tell us before you sign up rather than after.

The service

LexerDial provides business phone numbers and a workspace for making and receiving calls and messages on them, in a web browser and in a mobile app. We provision numbers on your behalf and operate the platform. We do not guarantee that any specific number, area code or country will be available.

Your account

You are responsible for who you give access to and for what they do with it. Keep credentials secure and tell us immediately if you think an account has been compromised. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is compromised, and we will tell you when we do.

Billing

• Opening an account costs $350 one time — a $250 setup fee plus a starter calling balance — and $100 per month thereafter for the account.
• Numbers are $25 per regular number per month or $50 per toll-free number per month, billed monthly in advance. Numbers are not capped to a fixed number of agent seats.
• Calls and messages are billed by usage at the rates published on our pricing page, which may change with reasonable notice.
• All amounts are in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable tax.
• There is no fixed term.

If an account falls into arrears we may suspend outbound calling until it is settled. We will contact you before we do.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. Numbers stay active until the end of the period you have paid for and are then released. Released numbers cannot be recovered — if you want to keep a number, keep it active. Export anything you need before you cancel.

Acceptable use

You may not use LexerDial to:

• send unsolicited automated calls or messages in breach of the law where you or the recipient are located;
• impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent who is calling;
• commit fraud, harass anyone, or distribute unlawful content;
• resell the service, or attempt to circumvent the country allowlist or concurrency limits on your workspace.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and in serious cases we will do so without notice.

Call recording

The service can record calls. Whether you may lawfully record a particular call, and whether you must tell the other party, depends on the law where each party is located. Complying with that is your responsibility, not ours.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we reasonably can. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and telecommunications delivery depends on networks outside our control.

Emergency calls

LexerDial is not a replacement for a telephone line and must not be relied on to call emergency services. Always have another way to reach emergency services.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account owners before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
